ABOUT SII / STANDARD INTEGRITY INSTITUTE
DOCUMENT CLARITY BEFORE COMMITMENT
Let integrity becomethe finest finishin every space.
Standard Integrity Institute (SII) focuses on renovation and construction quotation-document review. We organise scope, quantities, specifications, payment, acceptance, warranty, variations, and responsibility boundaries into information that can be read, traced, and questioned before comparison, payment, or signing.
WHY SII BEGAN
SII did not beginwith a price difference. It began with a deeper question.
During an early renovation project, SII's founder realised that a quotation could list a brand, model, and total price while still failing to answer a basic question: what exactly does this amount include? The problem was not always missing information; it was information that was not structured well enough to verify or compare.
If a difference cannot be explained, it is difficult to compare fairly. If a commitment is not written down, it is difficult to verify later.
SII therefore starts by clarifying the document rather than deciding who is right or wrong, so questions can be raised while the quotation can still be amended or clarified.
THE PROBLEM WE ADDRESS
The biggest riskis rarely one number. It is what was never written beside it.
Renovation and construction decisions are high-value, cross-disciplinary, and long-running. When scope, specifications, payment basis, or responsibilities are unclear, questions that could have been resolved before commitment often surface only during work, payment, or dispute.
A total price is not the same as clarity
If quantities, unit prices, specifications, inclusions, exclusions, and scope cannot be traced, the quotation is a weak basis for decision-making.
The same label does not mean the same scope
Two quotations may both say carpentry, electrical, or waterproofing while using different materials, methods, quantities, acceptance terms, and responsibilities.
Questions become expensive when asked too late
Payment, variations, acceptance, schedule, and warranty are easier to clarify while the document can still be changed.
THE SII METHOD
Read it clearly.Compare it fairly.Discuss it before commitment.
SII does not begin with 'is this contractor good?' We begin with 'can this document support a decision?' The review sequence stays consistent: READ · COMPARE · DISCUSS.
Can it be understood?
Can the work items, quantities, units, unit prices, materials, specifications, and terms be understood by someone who did not prepare the quotation?
Can it be compared fairly?
Are scope, specifications, quantities, payment, and responsibilities aligned enough to compare alternatives rather than only final totals?
Can it be clarified before commitment?
Can payment, acceptance, warranty, variations, schedule, and responsibilities be converted into specific questions and written confirmation?
PUBLIC REVIEW FRAMEWORK
Trust should not dependon SII calling itself professional. The framework should be traceable.
SII organises quotation review into four dimensions and publishes SII-R001 through SII-R030. Standard codes shown in a full report can be traced back to public descriptions of what is reviewed, common examples, and clarification directions.
Transparency
Are prices, materials, brands, specifications, and scope clearly disclosed?
Consistency
Do units, quantities, amounts, dates, scope, and conditions agree throughout the document?
Reasonability
Do payment, fees, and pricing structures have enough documentary basis to be explained and checked?
Executability
Do schedule, acceptance, warranty, change, and responsibility terms support later performance and communication?
WHAT USERS CAN VERIFY
We place credibilitywhere users caninspect it themselves.
You do not have to trust a brand claim first. Review the rating system, public criteria, report example, and service boundaries before deciding whether to submit a document.
30 criteria are publicly traceable
SII-R001 through SII-R030 are not black-box labels; each criterion explains what it reviews.
Level 1–5 rates the document
The level describes document maturity, not contractor credibility, construction ability, or future outcomes.

What SII does not do is explicit
Legal, engineering, market-price appraisal, and contractor endorsement are outside SII's role.
PROJECT CONTEXT
One review logic.Different project contextsare not forced into one template.
Quotation formats, measurement units, payment language, construction terminology, and documentation practices vary by region. SII records project region, project type, and report language before reviewing the shared question: is the document clear enough to read, compare, and discuss?
Project context is used to understand the document and present results. It does not constitute legal, pricing, or engineering appraisal in any jurisdiction.
